Home Incarceration Program
Home Incarceration supervises offenders through the use of an active, tamper
proof, electronic surveillance system. This system is hooked up to the
offender's telephone and receives a signal transmitted from a band around the
offender's ankle. It is by the continuous transmission of the ankle band signal
that the system can identify if the offender is in monitoring radius and thus
complying with Home Incarceration requirements. Offenders must follow a schedule
and are only permitted to leave their residence for work, school, substance
abuse counseling and other authorized programing. In-home alcohol testing
devices are available for individuals who need frequent alcohol abuse
monitoring. |
