Detoxification/Central Assessment & Drop-In Center
This facility provides a point of entry to comprehensive services for the public inebriant and other chemically dependent Summit County residents. The facility consists of three separate components:
*Drop-In Center - a place for public inebriants to stay until the effects of alcohol have worn off.*Detoxification Unit - 24-hour medical supported detoxification service.
*Central Assessment - assessment and referral service.
Referrals to this facility are made by social service agencies, law
enforcement, family members or employers. Self referrals are also
accepted. The goal is the referral of medically stable clients to appropriate
care.
